SHOW: East Anglian Railway Museum, Colchester, England June 13, 2009

Here's the available audio, from a few different video sources, of Blur's first show of 2009 in Damon, Graham, and Dave's hometown. Similar to the Newcastle show I put up a few weeks back, this isn't perfect but it's all we've got and is still enjoyable. Hope you dig this!

  3. sure am, thanks again it ace. Was an amazing night I remember damon saying to the tiny crowd "when we first wrote the universal it had a jamacian lilt to it. That really would have been a moment especially after country house." then they kicked into country house, very unexpeceted.

  4. Hah, that's classic! I knew they'd originally written The Universal as a ska/calypso type song, but hadn't heard them mention it in ages. What a weird song that would have been had it stayed like that! Sounds like an incredible gig to be at...I hope someday a proper tape surfaces so we can enjoy it all. Thanks for sharing your memories!
